INTERMEDIATE/SENIOR PROGRAM

Dive deep into your interests!

What's the Intermediate/Senior Program?

The Intermediate/Senior Program’s main goal is to provide campers with the opportunity to delve deeper into any subject that interests them. Activities are led by experienced educators or specialists and focus on giving campers the space and expert guidance to work on projects bigger than they imagined, all while learning and honing the skills required.

In each session, campers pick three activities that are best suited to their interests. Some of the many activities offered are Video Game Design, Learn to Play Guitar, Origami, Stopmotion Animation, and many many more! On the first Friday of the session, campers get to chose a workshop: a self-contained activity that begins and ends within the single day, giving them the chance to try something new. The second Friday of each session is dedicated to showcasing projects, a time where campers get to shine and see how far they’ve come in two weeks.

What's in a Day?

The Intermediate and Senior camper’s day is divided into three separate periods (Period 1, from 8:30 to 10:00, Period 2 from 10:15 to 11:45, and Period 3 from 1:00 to 3:30) which are in turn punctuated by recreation and social time breaks. After registration, campers pick three different activities that are best suited to their interests.

The Activity Catalogue list is released in April and activity registration opens in early May, first registered, first served. The impressive number and selection of offerings encourage our campers to dive deeper into the things they love and discover new interests.

FAQ

Of course! Campers have a thirty minute time block during lunch outdoors (weather-permitting) and some activities partially take place outdoors, depending on the subject. Occasionally, lunch will take place at a nearby park, where campers will spend the entire lunch period outdoors.
