PANORAMA PROGRAM

Looking into the future!

What's the Panorama Program?

The Panorama program takes summer learning and engagement to a higher level. It is designed to appeal to curious and more independent adolescents from ages 14 to 18. Each group is led by a McGill graduate or graduate student with academic studies and work-related experience in the field. The goal of the Panorama program is to provide an opportunity for teenagers interested in pursuing the subject to explore possible degrees and career paths, meet and learn from McGill faculty and professionals in the field, be introduced to and engage in current research and meet like-minded peers.

What's in a Day

The Panorama day usually starts with a guest speaker, who is either a member of the McGill faculty or a professional in the field. The topics range from a specific topic of research to general requirements of a program of study. Oftentimes, there will be a visit to facilities associated to the topic, such as the McGill Chemistry labs, and an activity, such as a science experiment, as well. There are several field trips throughout the Session as well, such as a visit to the Macdonald McGill Campus and the Gault Nature Reserve.
