Thank you ERA!

Did you know that recycling one aluminum can saves enough energy to run your computer for up to four hours? Recycle, reduce, reuse! And this goes with for old computers too!

Explorations received a donation of 10 refurbished computers this week from the Electronic Recycling Association. We wanted to say a big thank you to ERA for providing these computers for our Explorations community.

These ten computers will be used in our Learning Lab as well as our Summer Camp. This donation will be used by our young learners in our media programs, such as video game design, coding and film editing.

Here is Adam Koren, our Program Development Coordinator and International Outreach, picking up our donation.

By recycling your old electronics with ERA, local community charities, like Explorations, are given equal opportunities to support their programs and Canadians in need with refurbished computers. Find your local e-waste collection station today to recycle your old computers.

If you are looking to recycle your old electronics, the Electronic Recycling Association has Canada-wide drop-off locations. Find your nearest drop-off location here.
