Explorations 2018 has brought forward several new activities based on previous conversations with our camper families and colleagues. Our junior science program has welcomed Amanda Tulli who has brings a science inquiry approach to the teaching and understanding of physical and natural sciences. Tracy Blonder and her fellow junior activity group leaders have embraced a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) approach and roving bots and collaborative group work continues to inspire our K to grade 3 groups.
New offerings for our intermediate campers include Entrepreneurship – Make Money, EEP – English Enrichment Program, Animanga, “Kids Code Jeunesse presents Learn Scratch and Microbit”, as well as “Build Your Own Website”, Dungeon and Dragons Revisited, More, Advanced Game Programming with VR and Cooking Chemistry (descriptions for all of our intermediate courses can be found on our Intermediate Activities List section on our website, www.explorationscamp.ca).
We are looking forward to showcasing both our new and “tried and true” activities at our Open House next Friday, July 27th. A more complete invitation will be sent out shortly.
