James Feith

Director
James has been a teacher for nearly 10 years, working at both the elementary and high school levels. He joined the Explorations team 5 years ago as the Junior science specialist. In his free time, James enjoys spending time with his family, reading and learning about science and technology.
James’ objectives at Explorations include ensuring the safety and well-being of our young learners, ensuring that our leaders can meet their goals and grow their potential, and overseeing the administrative side of our programs.
Explorations represents everything learning should be: fun, challenging and organic.

Rana Liu

Community Development
Rana is an Asian Canadian multidisciplinary arts creator, manager and lover of bagels. She earned her BA at McGill University in 2017, and completed her MA at Columbia College Chicago in Arts Management in 2019. As a patchwork storyteller, her mission is to provide a platform for people to tell their stories.
Rana’s work seeks to actively engage Explorations within the community, setting goals for improvement and responding to problems and needs through empowerment and active participation. As the communications link, she leads the development campaigns, the diversity and inclusion objectives, and hosts the Explorers Book Club.
That Explorations Family has always been open and receptive to new ideas, allowing all of us to learn from each other. Also a huge fan of FriYAY!

Adam Koren

Program Development & International Outreach
Adam has trained in Musical Theatre, and works as a professional actor and director internationally. He has also been teaching children theatre for the last 3 years. In his spare time he loves to cook, bake and see the world.
Adam was originally brought on to Explorations to teach a theatre class. He has since rediscovered his love for the camp after being a camper as a child. He has found a passion for educating young learners, and takes his job of program development very seriously, where he is always thinking of new and exciting programs to offer to our Explorations Community.

He loves the freedom Explorations provides to explore and discover new passions with like minded people. Also HE LOVES RANA’S HAIR

Maya Radhakrishna

Operations Manager
Maya is a UBC Sauder Bachelor of Commerce (Operations and Logistics) student. She enjoys working on musical theatre productions and spending time with friends. She is interested in working in management consulting or in supply chain operations.
Maya oversees the mentorship, feedback and meetings for our Coordinators and Counsellors and ensures they have a positive experience at camp. She also liaisons between staff members and the administration to make sure that the organization runs smoothly.
Every camper has the opportunity to be themselves here. Explorations offer programs that encourage children to work independently and create their own goals.

Yevgenia Dudiy

Junior Coordinator
Yevgenia is a McGill student who will double-major in Environment and Statistics. Her interests include art, ancient history and exploring Montreal. This year will be her fifth summer working at Explorations.
As a Junior Coordinator, Yevgenia ensures that all the Junior campers, parents and staff are having the best summer possible! For any questions, please feel free to contact her at yevgenia@explorationslearning.com.

International Activity Leaders

As Explorations continues to expand its International Program, we are looking for educators and support staff to join us as we lead Explorations Educational Activities throughout the world. Our next major International project is a 10-day educational exchange in Beijing and Foshan, China. Leaders who are chosen to be part of this program will receive complimentary travel, accommodations, and meals.

Weekend Program Educators

Our new weekend programs will allow children and teenagers to continue their Explorations experience throughout the year as they take part in projects led by passionate educators. We are looking for certified educators, or experts in their field, who will lead a variety of engaging Activities. Team participants are given the opportunity to design Activities based on their own interests and expertise.

Summer Camp 2020

It’s already time to start planning for Summer 2020! Whether you want to work as a member of our Junior Leaders team (Ages 4 to 9) or you wish to lead your own Intermediate Activity (Ages 9 to 15), we are always looking for motivated educators to join our team. Teaching Assistants

Explorations relies on our team of Teaching Assistants to help support our educators and learners. As a teaching assistant, your role is to ensure the safety of the learners, to help guide them through their learning and to assist the teacher when necessary.
